Friar House
Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring, circa 1930.
This beautiful oval cut velvet blue sapphire measures approximately .50 carats and is flanked by two old round cut diamonds measuring a total of .60 carat, H colour and SI clarity. The Sapphire and Diamonds are all double claw set in a lovely platinum pierced out gallery. Knife edge shoulders lead to an unmarked 18ct yellow gold plain band shank. The head of the ring measures approximately 14mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allow the light to shine through.
This would make the perfect engagement ring and would also pair well with a wedding band and eternity ring
