Edwardian Diamond Horseshoe Bar Brooch. Circa 1910. 15 carat rose gold and platinum set, non marked.
In the centre is a horseshoe entwined around the rose gold bar, set with ten old cut diamonds. Rose cut diamonds are set to the tip of the brooch.
Total diamond content measures approximately 1 carat. Diamonds H colour, VS clarity. The horseshoe has a decorative outer edge. Diamonds are all claw set.
To the reverse the diamonds are set into open backed settings to allow the light to shine through. The bar brooch is fitted with a gold pin with a hook under c-catch fastener.
The bar brooch measures approximately 48 mm in length. The horseshoe measures approximately 10 mm width by 13 mm height.
