Lovely Art Deco 18 carat Gold 1 Carat Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

Sapphire And Diamond Cluster Ring in Yellow Gold.

Art Deco circa 1920's. 18 carat yellow gold (unmarked). Claw set with an oval cut Natural mid blue sapphire. Complemented by an outer cluster of eight old cut diamonds.  Total diamond content measures approximately 1.20 carats. Diamonds H Colour, VS/SI Clarity. Sapphire measures approximately 1 carat. Diamonds and sapphire are all claw set.  Decorative gallery leading to a plain band shank.  To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.

This would make a wonderful dress or engagement ring.
