Antique Cluster Rings

Cluster Rings have been worn as far back as the Georgian period and there are many variations. A classic cluster is mostly round or oval in shape featuring a central claw set gemstone surrounded by diamonds. Many varieties of cluster-like settings have evolved over time. Prince William gave Kate his mother's sapphire and diamond cluster ring for their engagement, although their use as the official engagement ring is a more recent phenomenon.
