A Fabulous Art Deco Diamond solitaire engagement ring, circa 1930.
Set in four double claw settings is an old cut oval diamond which measures 2.03 carats, H colour and VS clarity. The shoulders are set with three old cut, claw set diamonds to each side with a pierced out gallery on an 18 carat white gold (non marked) plain band shank. The head of the ring measures 7mm in width. To the reverse the diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
The unusual oval diamond in this ring makes it a unique choice of engagement ring.
