Striking Green Tourmaline Solitaire Ring, circa 1930.
Featuring a rectangular cut vivd green tourmaline measuring approximately 1.10 carats, with three old cut diamonds, millegrain set, to each shoulder, measuring at total of approximately .06 carats. The tourmaline, which measures 6mm x 8mm, is set with four claws on a raised pierced out gallery and leads to an 18ct white gold plain band shank, marked 18CT. To the reverse the tourmaline and diamonds are set in an open backed setting which allows the light to shine through.
This is an exceptional colour green tourmaline.
