Handsome Edwardian Gentleman's Belcher Diamond Ring

Diamond Set "Gentleman's" Ring Hallmarked London 1919.

18 carat yellow gold, marked 18. Set in a decorative claw Belcher style setting is a single old cut diamond.  Diamond content measures approximately .70 carat. Diamond H Colour, SI Clarity.   Plain smooth shoulders lead to a plain wide band shank. The ring weighs 8.1 grams.  To the reverse the diamond is set into an open back setting, this allows the light to shine through.
