Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring

Delightful Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1940.

Featuring a lovely central round cut ruby, measuring approximately .70 carat, surrounded by a halo of ten old cut diamonds measuring approximately .50 carat. The diamonds are G colour and VS clarity.  The head of the ring measures 11mm in width.  All stones are claw set on a decorative pierced out gallery.  Knife edge shoulders lead to an 18ct yellow gold plain band shank (marked 18CT).  The rubies and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allows the light to shine through.

This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention
