Delightful Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1940.
Featuring a lovely central round cut ruby, measuring approximately .70 carat, surrounded by a halo of ten old cut diamonds measuring approximately .50 carat. The diamonds are G colour and VS clarity. Â The head of the ring measures 11mm in width. Â All stones are claw set on a decorative pierced out gallery. Â Knife edge shoulders lead to an 18ct yellow gold plain band shank (marked 18CT). Â The rubies and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allows the light to shine through.
This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention
