Vintage 18ct White Gold 2 Carat Diamond Cluster Ring

Stunning Diamond cluster ring, circa 1940.

A circular old cut diamond is complemented by an outer halo of six diamonds measuring approximately 2 carats in total, K colour and VS/SI clarity.  All diamonds are claw set in platinum. The decorative pierced out gallery and plain shoulders lead to an 18ct white gold plain band shank(marked 18CT PLAT). The head of the ring measures 12mm in width.  To the reverse the diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.

Diamonds are the perfect choice for an engagement ring because of the hardness of the stone, but this ring would also make a wonderful dress ring option.
