Art Deco 18ct Yellow Gold 1 Carat Diamond Cluster Ring

Lovely Diamond cluster ring, circa 1930. 

A circular old cut diamond, claw set in platinum, is complemented by an outer halo of eight old cut diamonds, claw set in 18ct yellow gold, measuring approximately 1 carat in total, H in colour and VS/SI clarity. The decorative pierced out gallery and plain shoulders lead to an unmarked 18ct yellow gold plain band shank. The head of the ring measures 10mm in width.  To the reverse the diamonds are set into an open backed setting which allows the maximum amount of light to shine through.

This very pretty ring would be perfect as an engagement ring and would also make a wonderful dress ring.
