Art Deco 18ct Yellow Gold Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring

Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring, circa 1920.

This ring features a central claw set, old round cut diamond which measures approximately .35 carat, H Colour and SI Clarity.  The platinum shoulders and decorative pierced out gallery lead to a 18ct yellow gold plain band shank (marked 18CT PLAT).  To the reverse the diamond is set into an open back setting, this allows the maximum amount of light to shine through.

An unusual design to the head of the ring makes this the perfect choice for an engagement ring.
