Fire Opal and Diamond Drop Pendant, circa 1930
This beautiful oval Fire Opal, measuring approximately 2.5 carats, is set in an 18ct Yellow gold four claw setting and suspended from an articulated bar drop. An old cut diamond is rub over set to the top with two old cut diamonds grain set to the trumpet shaped bar drop, and a further old cut diamond rub over set above the fire opal. The drop of the pendant measures 30mm. All Diamonds are set in un-marked white gold topped 18ct yellow gold and measure approximately 0.25 carats in total, H colour and VS clarity. The Fire Opal and Diamonds are open backed set to allow the maximum amount of light to shine through.
