Art Deco 1930s Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring.
This beautiful cluster ring features a rectangular cut cornflower blue sapphire, semi-rub over set, complemented by an outer cluster of fourteen old cut diamonds, all claw set, within millegrain edging. Â Total diamond content measures approximately 1 carat, Â H colour and VS/SI clarity. The Sapphire measures approximately 1.80 carats. The head of the ring measures 11mm in width and is supported by a pierced out gallery with plain shoulders leading to a plain band platinum shank. Â To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This is an unusual ring that makes a statement.
