A Super Diamond Solitaire Ring, circa 1930.
Featuring an emerald cut diamond in a four claw setting, which measures approximately 1.75 carat, Â I colour and SI clarity. Â Each shoulder features two descending baguette cut diamonds in encased rub over settings, measuring approximately .50 carat in total. The decorative pierced out gallery and plain shoulders lead to a platinum plain band shank (marked PLAT). The head of the ring measures 13mm in width, with the solitaire diamond measuring 6mm x 9mm. Â The diamonds are set into an open backed setting which allows the maximum amount of light to shine through.
This emerald cut diamond would make a fabulous engagement ring.
