Art Deco Platinum Pink and Blue Sapphire Two Stone Crossover Ring
Two Stone Art Deco Coloured Sapphire Cross Over Ring. Circa 1930.
Platinum set, marked PLAT. Claw set to the centre are two oval sapphires in a mid violet blue and warm pink colour. The sapphires measure approximately .90 carat each. The sapphires are surrounded by a part oval of four claw set diamonds to each side of the central stones to form a twist design. The diamonds measure approximately .50 carat in total. Diamonds G Colour, VS Clarity. Each shoulder is set with one old cut diamond. Plain shoulders lead to a plain band shank. To the reverse the sapphires and diamonds are set into open backed settings to allow the light to shine through.
This would make a beautiful dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
