Art Deco Platinum Yellow Sapphire and Diamond Ring

A very individual 1930's Art Deco yellow sapphire and diamond ring.

The feature of this ring is the beautiful .75 carat oval cut yellow sapphire, claw set in a square setting flanked on either shoulder by two claw set old cut diamonds, .10 carats in total H colour and VS clarity.  The pretty heart shaped pierced out gallery leads to a platinum plain band shank. The head of the ring measures 16mm across. The setting is open backed to allow maximum light to pass through.

This would make a perfect engagement or dress ring.
