Lovely Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Earrings, circa 1930.
Each earring is set with a central round cut cornflower blue sapphire in a four claw setting measuring approximately 0.30 carats, complemented by a halo of eight brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds measure approximately 0.24 carats, G colour and V/S clarity. The gemstones are all platinum set in a 18ct yellow gold decorative pierced out gallery (unmarked) and measure 9mm in width. To the reverse the sapphires and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allow the maximum amount of light to shine through.
