Edwardian 18ct Yellow Gold Diamond Belcher Ring

Gold "Gentlemans" Diamond Belcher Ring. Circa 1910.

18 carat yellow gold, non-marked.  Set in a decorative claw Belcher style setting is a single old cut diamond. Diamond content measures approximately .50 carat.  H colour, SI Clarity.  Reeded shoulders lead to a plain band shank.  To the reverse the diamond is set into an open back setting, this allows the light to shine through.  The head of the ring measures approximately 10 mm width from outer scroll decoration to outer scroll decoration.
