Friar House
Lovely Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring from the 1930s.
This pretty daisy cluster features a central mid blue, round cut sapphire encircled by six old cut diamonds. The sapphire weighs approximately 0.35 carat and the diamonds weigh approximately 1 carat in total, G colour and VS/SI clarity. The sapphire and diamonds are all claw set in a decorative gallery, with knife edge shoulders leading to a platinum plain band shank, marked PLAT. The head of the ring measure approx 11 mm in width. To the reverse the ring has an open backed setting, which allows the maximum amount of light to shine through.
This would make a perfect engagement ring or anniversary present.
