Friar House
A spectacular Citrine and Diamond Dress Ring, circa 1940.
Featuring a mixed rectangle cut, deep yellow/orange hued Citrine of approximately 24 carats, set in a four double clawed setting. There are seven claw set old cut diamonds within a platinum millegrain border to each shoulder in a step down design. The diamonds measure approximately .42 carats in total, H colour and VS/SI clarity. The decorative, pierced out gallery leads to an unmarked 14ct yellow gold plain band shank. The Citrine measures approximately 17cm in width. To the reverse the Citrine and Diamonds are set into open backed settings which allow the light to shine through.
This statement Citrine would make a perfect Dress or Cocktail ring.
