Vintage 18ct White Gold Aquamarine and Diamond Ring

Stunning Aquamarine and Diamond ring, circa 1940.

Featuring a very desirable sea blue emerald cut Aquamarine of approximately 7.5 carats in a platinum four claw setting. Each shoulder is set with two marquise cut diamonds in heart shaped claw settings complementing the central Aquamarine, approximately 0.32 carat in total, H colour and VS clarity. At each end of the platinum raised under gallery are three single cut diamonds, grain set, totalling approximately 0.12 carat.  The 18 carat white gold plain band shank is marked 18CT PLAT.  The width across the ring is 15mm. To the reverse the ring is set into open back setting which allows the light to shine through.

This beautiful Aquamarine would make a perfect Dress ring and would be sure to attract attention.
