Friar House
An impressive Aquamarine and Diamond ring dating from the 1940's.
Modelled in an 18 carat yellow gold mount with a four claw high set 8.5 carat emerald cut rectangular sea blue Aquamarine. To each shoulder are five old cut diamonds grain set in platinum boxed settings. The grooved stepped shoulders lead to a tapered plain band shank. Diamond content is approximately .20 carat in total, G colour and VS clarity. The head of the ring measures 12mm in width by 14mm depth. To the reverse the ring is set into an open backed setting which allows the light to shine through.
This ring would make a perfect cocktail ring for a smart or casual occasion, full of summer style.
