Friar House
A stunning Vintage Emerald and Diamond dress ring, circa 1940.
This ring features a rectangular cut Emerald of approximately 2 carats, in a four claw setting to each corner of the stone, surrounded by 4 baguette cut diamonds set in platinum rub over settings and an old cut diamond to each corner grain set in millegrain edged settings. A further three diamonds are platinum set to each shoulder in a step down design. The diamonds measure approximately 1 carat in total and are G colour and VS clarity. The geometric pierced out gallery leads to grooved shoulders and an 18ct yellow gold plain band shank, non marked. The Emerald measures approximately 9.5mm x 10mm with the head of the ring measuring 20mm in width. To the reverse the ring is set into open back setting which allows the light to shine through.
This statement Emerald would make a perfect Dress or Cocktail ring and would be sure to attract attention.
