Vintage Platinum 6 Carat Aquamarine Ring

Lovely oval Aquamarine ring circa 1940.

Featuring a 6 carat oval cut aquamarine which is set in a raised 6 claw gallery with three old cut diamonds in circular rub over settings to each shoulder, leading to a platinum plain band shank (marked PLAT).  The diamonds measure approximately .20 carats in total, G colour and VS clarity. The head of the ring measures 10mm x 16mm. To the reverse the ring is set into an open backed setting which allows the light to shine through.

This beautiful aquamarine would make a perfect Cocktail or Dress ring.
