Quintessential 1930's Sapphire and Diamond Ring.
This lovely ring features a rectangular cut velvet blue sapphire, measuring approximately .50 carat, complemented by three old cut diamonds to each shoulder, measuring approximately .10 carats, G colour and VS clarity. The sapphire and diamonds are all set in millegrain rub over settings. The decorative pierced out gallery leads to a palladium plain band shank (marked PALLA). The head of the ring measures approximately 12mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allow the light to shine through.
This pretty ring would be ideal as an engagement ring, or perfect for self gifting.
