Stunning Sapphire and Diamond Ring circa 1940.
Featuring a rectangular cut velvet blue sapphire in a four claw setting, measuring approximately 1 carat. To each shoulder are three baguette cut diamonds in bow shaped rub over settings, measuring approximately 0.10 carats to each side, G colour and VS clarity. The decorative pierced out gallery leads to an 18ct white gold plain band shank, marked 18ct. The head of the ring measures approximately 11.5mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allows the light to shine through.
