Vintage Platinum 1.10 Carat Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

 Lovely Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1940.

The round 1.10 carat central sapphire is circled by a halo of diamonds measuring  approximately .80 carats in total, G colour and VS clarity.  The sapphire and diamonds are all claw set in a decorative gallery, with knife edge shoulders leading to a platinum plain band shank.  The head of the ring measure approx 13mm in width. To the reverse the ring has an open backed setting, which allows the light to shine through.

This would make a perfect engagement ring or special anniversary present.
