
The Mohs Scale of mineral hardness was created by German mineralogist, Friedich Mohs in 1822 to measure the relative hardness of various materials. Here at Friar House we suggest any ring to be worn every day to have a hardness above a '9' such as a Ruby, Sapphire or Diamond.
