Art Deco 15ct Yellow Gold 7 Carat Amethyst and Diamond Bracelet

Ravishing Amethyst and Diamond Bracelet in 15 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1930. 

This absolutely stunning bracelet features a rectangular amethyst of the most vibrant purple surrounded by a halo of diamonds set in a platinum millegrain channel to form a rounded rectangle. The lower part of this setting features decorative engraving. Each side of the bracelet is articulated and set with eight diamonds in a pyramid shape topped with five further diamonds set in the shape of a flower. All diamonds are set in a platinum millegrain setting. The amethyst measures 7 carats with the total diamond content measuring approximately 0.6 carat. To the reverse all gems are set into open backed settings, thus allowing the light to shine through.

The bracelet also features expandable baton links in 15 carat (unmarked) yellow gold  Note: there are five links to one side of the bracelet and six links to the other.
