Art Deco 18ct Yellow Gold 1 Carat Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

Lovely Sapphire And Diamond Cluster Ring from the 1920's

Claw set with an oval cut mid blue sapphire and complemented by an outer cluster of eight claw set old cut diamonds.  The total diamond content measures approximately 1.20 carats,  H Colour and VS/SI Clarity. The Sapphire measures approximately 1 carat. The decorative gallery leads to an 18ct yellow gold (unmarked) plain band shank.  The head of the ring measures 13mm in width.  To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.

This would make a wonderful dress or engagement ring.
