Art Deco 18ct Yellow Gold 1.5 carat Yellow Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

1920's Yellow Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring.

Claw set with an oval cut vibrant yellow sapphire. Complemented by an outer cluster of twelve old cut diamonds. The shoulders of the ring have scrolled, carved decoration. Total diamond content measures approximately .80 carat. Diamonds G Colour, VS/SI Clarity. Sapphire measures approximately 1.5 carats. Diamonds and sapphire are all claw set.  Pierced out gallery. 18ct Yellow Gold Plain band shank.  To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.

This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
