Friar House
A delightful Diamond Solitaire Ring, circa 1930.
Featuring a claw set old round cut solitaire diamond which is complemented by foliate design diamond set shoulders. The solitaire measures approximately .90 carat, J colour and I clarity. To each shoulder three old cut diamonds are claw set in millegrain edged rub over settings measuring approximately .06 carats. The head of the ring measures 7mm and is supported by a raised, pierced out gallery with grooved shoulders leading to a platinum plain band shank (marked PLAT). To the reverse the diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This would make a beautiful engagement ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
