Art Deco 1930's Platinum 1.4 carat Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring

Elegant Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring, Circa 1930.

This beautiful oval cut velvet blue sapphire measures approximately 1.4 carats and is flanked by two old brilliant cut diamonds measuring a total of 1.00 carat, G colour and VS clarity.  The Sapphire and Diamonds are all double claw set. The ring has a pierced out gallery, knife edge shoulders and a platinum plain band shank. The head of the ring measures approximately 16mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allow the light to shine through.

This would make the perfect engagement ring and would also pair well with a wedding band and eternity ring.
