Art Deco Green Sapphire and Diamond Solitaire Ring

Art Deco Green Sapphire and Diamond Solitaire Ring, Circa 1930.

Single Oval cut Green  Sapphire. Claw Set. Platinum marked.  Measures approximately 1 carat. Diamonds measure approximately .6 carats to each shoulder.  Diamonds H Colour, VS Clarity.

Each shoulder is claw set with three old cut diamonds. Plain band shank. Decorative pierced out gallery.

To the reverse the diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.

The sapphire solitaire measures approximately 6mm across. The head of the ring from either side of the diamond measures 17mm.

This would make a beautiful and unusual engagement or dress ring.

The majority of our rings can be resized. The first resizing will be done at our expense and can take up to five working days.
