Art Deco Oval Pink Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring. Circa 1930.
18 carat yellow gold marked 18ct & Plat. Claw set with a circular cut pink sapphire. Complemented by an outer cluster of ten old cut diamonds. Total diamond content measures approximately .40 carat. Diamonds H Colour, VS Clarity. Diamonds and sapphire are all claw set. The sapphire measures approximately .40 carat. Pierced out gallery. Knife Edge shoulders leading to a plain band shank. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
