Attractive Art Deco Pink Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring. Circa 1930.
Platinum set with an oval cut pink sapphire and an outer cluster of ten old cut diamonds. The sapphire measures approximately .40 carat and the diamonds measures approximately .40 carat, H Colour and VS Clarity. The diamonds and sapphire are all claw set in platinum.The pierced out gallery and knife edge shoulders lead to an 18ct yellow gold plain band shank (marked 18ct & Plat). The head of the ring measures 8mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
