Platinum Art Deco Amethyst and Diamond Cluster Ring

Art Deco 1930's Platinum Amethyst and Diamond Cluster Ring.

This beautiful cluster ring features a rectangular cut deep purple amethyst complemented by an outer cluster of old cut diamonds, all claw set. One baguette cut diamond to each shoulder. The total diamond content measures approximately .25 carat,  G colour and VS clarity. The Amethyst measures approximately 5.5 carats. The head of the ring is supported by a pierced out gallery with plain shoulders leading to a plain band platinum shank. To the reverse the amethyst and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.

This is an unusual and stunning ring that makes a statement.
