Art Deco Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Ring
Square Cut Sapphire and Diamond Solitaire Ring, Circa 1930.
This square cut velvet blue sapphire, in a four claw setting, measures approximately 2.50 carats. Claw set to each shoulder is a single old cut diamond in a square rub over setting, measuring .50 carats, H colour and VS/SI clarity. The ring has a pierced out gallery, and a platinum plain band shank. The head of the ring measures approximately 10mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allow the light to shine through.
