Contemporary 18ct White Gold 16 Carat Aquamarine and Diamond Ring

Contemporary Aquamarine and Diamond Ring dated 1986

This magnificent 16 carat rectangular cut mediterranean blue aquamarine is set in a raised woven basket setting of 18 carat white gold (marked London/Leopard/1986) with a spray of three baguette cut diamonds to each shoulder. The aquamarine is surrounded by a halo of brilliant cut diamonds measuring approximately .50 carats, G colour and VS clarity.  The plain shoulders lead to a plain band shank which has had the addition of "beads" to prevent the ring from spinning around on the wearers finger. The head of the ring measures approximately 27mm x 27mm.  The open backed setting to the reverse allows the light to shine through.

This amazing Aquamarine would make the perfect cocktail or statement ring and would certainly attract attention.
