Edwardian 18ct Yellow Gold 2.5 Carat Peridot and Diamond Cluster Ring
Edwardian 18ct Yellow Gold 2.5 Carat Peridot and Diamond Cluster Ring
Vibrant Edwardian Peridot and Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1910.
This stunning 18 carat yellow gold (unmarked) ring is claw set with an oval vivid-green peridot and complemented by an outer cluster of sixteen rose cut diamonds, set in a rounded rectangle shape. Diamonds measure a total of approximately 0.4 carat. The peridot measures approximately 2.5 carats. The ring also features knife edge shoulders each set with one claw set rose cut diamond, leading to an 18 carat yellow gold plain band shank. The head of the ring measures 12mm across. The platinum gallery is decorative and pierced out with the peridot and diamonds having open backed settings, which allows the maximum of light to shine through.
This would make a striking dress ring and would be certain to attract plenty of attention.
