Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring
Victorian Sapphire And Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1900.
Claw set with a central oval cut mid blue sapphire which is complemented by an outer cluster of four further round sapphires and four old cut diamonds. The total diamond content measures approximately .40 carat, G colour and VS/SI clarity. The sapphires measure approximately .80 carat. Set in 18 carat yellow gold with Hallmarks and an indistinct 18CT stamp. The head of the ring measures 12mm in width. Plain shoulders lead to a plain band shank. To the reverse the sapphires and diamonds are set in open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This would make a wonderful dress or engagement ring.
